2011 Pinarello Graal Carbon 60HM1K Monocoque - Sky 531

Valuable experience gained with the DOGMA coupled with the grand tradition Pinarello bicycle time trial, and the new Pinarello construction techniques SOE Lab System (Simulation Optimize Evolution) contributed to the design of new forms and advanced technology used in exceptional project. Compared with its predecessor, FM1, Graal has completely new geometry, steep seat tube angle and vertical seat post.

Parts of the new tube was made with a computer, including waves in the tube bottom, designed to minimize weight and maximize performance. Front brake located behind the fork, to further improve aerodynamic coeffificient. Graal is available in two versions: one designed for Shimano Di2 specififically fully electronic shift with the cable run within the framework and the batteries perfectly integrated into the rear chainstay. The second version, for the mechanical drive train, also has an internal cable housing but there is no battery so that the chainstays are thinner.

To complete this project, Pinarello created a perfect blend with the handlebar frame and form a single body with it. Anura Stang has an internal section for both electronic and mechanical cable to achieve net shape and aerodynamics. Width 410 mm C / C and handlebar clutch equals 120 mm, 105 mm, 90 mm. Interchangeable extensions (various width and angle of tilt), adjustable height and length. Adjustable bearings. Anura Graal and handlebar frame made of carbon with Torayca 60HM fifibre 1K Nanoalloy fifinish and technology. Graal frame available in 6 sizes.
